The English FA Cup 3rd round gets underway this week, known for being the stage when EPL and Championship teams enter the comPetition. The FA Cup is known for its huge shock results and is one of the only times we might see part-time soccer players go head-to-head with the likes of Manchester City and Erling Haaland. Bournemouth ML over QPR (-220), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

English Premier League club Bournemouth look good value to make their class count when they visit Championship strugglers QPR on Saturday. The Cherries have been one of the EPL’s big improvers this season and Andoni Iraola’s men have won 6 of their last 8 Games and lost only once in that impressive run. The sole defeat came against Tottenham last time, and while that Game ended in a 3-1 loss, Bournemouth certainly offered more than that scoreline suggests. QPR’s brief improvement under Marti Cifuentes appears to have evaporated, with the Hoops winless in their last 6 Games. Rangers have scored just 2 goals in that period and should find things tough against Bournemouth.

Watford ML over Chesterfield (-210), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

Watford aren’t a team that have an issue hitting the back of the net and the Hornets have blasted 12 strikes in their last 5 Games. Valerien Ismael’s men have lost only 3 of their last 6 matches and they have put themselves in contention to reach the playoffs this season. As for Chesterfield, they are flying at the top of the National League and the Spireites will be eyeing a shock on Saturday. However, the ambition of Paul Cook’s side may be their undoing and Watford look good to progress.

Bolton ML over Luton (+440), 9:00 am ET, Sunday

Bolton look like a team that can cause a shock when they head to take on EPL team Luton on Sunday. The Whites have won 14 of their last 17 Games, and while the bulk of those victories have come at League One level, confidence is a powerful weapon. Luton have been battling away in the English Premier League and Rob Edwards’ team have shown plenty of fight. However, the Hatters faced Brentford, Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle, Sheffield United and Chelsea in December and that tough schedule may have left its mark.

We killed the existing lawn grass by scraping the plants off, and we did some digging to loosen the soil. We covered the garden with 2 to 4 inches of bark mulch from the city to keep out the weeds. The city grinds up branches from tree trimming around power lines. We have kept the garden moist, mostly by rain. The only plants to come up are the peas. Nothing else is growing at all. It has been over two weeks. We are new to gardening, but shouldn’t more than peas be sprouting by now? A: Peas do tend to sprout faster than many other vegetables. Two weeks is a long time to wait, but warm-season vegetable seeds might need a little longer if the soil is cold. I think the mulch might be your problem. PGMOL admits 'significant human error' which cost Liverpool goal in Tottenham defeat

Referees' body PGMOL has admitted an offside decision which ruled out a Luis Diaz goal in Liverpool's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday night was a "a significant human error ". The Reds had Curtis Jones sent off in the first half with the score at 0-0 before Diaz sprang in on goal and finished. The assistant's flag went up but replays showed the Colombia international was onside. The ruling from video assistant referee Darren England came quickly without the customary offside line graphic being shown before on-field official Simon Hooper restarted play. A statement reads: "PGMOL acknowledge a significant human error occurred during the first half of Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool. "The goal by Luiz Diaz was disallowed for offside by the on-field team of match officials.
