Cowboys lucked out with weather in Buffalo
When the Cowboys found out they would be playing on the road, in Buffalo, in December, the fear was that they could be looking at freezing temps and a snowy field.
As it turns out, they won’t have to deal with that at all. In fact, the weather conditions are quite good despite a high chance of rain. Temperatures are expected to be around 45 degrees with 15 mph wind. It’s a level playing field for the Cowboys as they take on the Bills at Highmark Stadium today.

Bills and Cowboys - where do they stand in Week 15?
The Buffalo Bills are at 7-6 and in 11th place in the AFC playoff race.
The Dallas Cowboys are tied with the Eagles and Niners at 10-3 and sit at 2nd place in the NFC playoff race. They are currently on a five-Game winning streak.
Playoff implications
Although no one thinks the Cowboys aren’t going to make it to the playoffs at this point, a win over the Bills today would clinch their spot. Not only that, but it would increase their chances of taking the lead in the NFC East.
The Bills, on the other hand, would greatly increase their chances of making the playoffs with a win over the Cowboys. Despite their low position in the AFC, they are still in the race after beating the Chiefs last week, and had help from the Steelers, Texans, and Colts losses. They are just two Games behind the division lead heading into Week 15.
The Stats:
A win for the Cowboys would mean a 44% chance of taking the lead in the NFC East and a 19% chance of winning it. A loss would mean just a 20% chance of taking the lead and a 3% chance of winning it.
For the Bills, a win would mean a 66% chance of going to the playoffs and 34% chance of winning the AFC East. A loss to the Cowboys would mean a 30% chance of making the playoffs and a 13% chance of winning the division title.
