Tottenham to hold talks with Pape Matar Sarr over new contract
Tottenham Hotspur are set to hold talks with midfielder Pape Matar Sarr over a new contract, 90min understands.
Sarr has featured in each of Spurs' three Premier League Games so far this season and has been among the team's top performers, scoring in the victory over Manchester United and registering an assist as Spurs saw off Bournemouth at the weekend.
With two starts to his name this season, Sarr has already started as many Premier League matches as he did across the entirety of the previous campaign.
Sarr's development has not gone unnoticed by Tottenham officials, who are keen to reward the 20-year-old with a new contract to reflect his emergence as a key player under new manager Ange Postecoglou.
The boss has managed to draw excellent performances out of both Sarr and Yves Bissouma - two players who appeared out in the cold last season.

Spurs could see plenty of midfield movement before the summer transfer window comes to an end, with Denmark international Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg free to explore his options after losing his place to Sarr.
Manchester United have been offered the chance to land Hojbjerg, who worked alongside Erik ten Hag at Bayern Munich.
There could also be a departure for Eric Dier, who is attracting mounting interest from across Europe after being left out of Postecoglou's matchday squads.
In the Premier League, Fulham have been offered Dier's services but there is interest in the 29-year-old from Portugal, France, Germany and Scotland, while clubs in Saudi Arabia have also been alerted to his availability.
